So I was just casually surfing the web and checking my Twitter when I came across a twitter account ‘@madstreetsgame‘. It got my attention, I went to their profile and was amazed to see clips of a promising casual fighting game.
I stuck around and as I kept scrolling through their feed, I got more and more attracted towards the game. Then I decided to research more about the game and write a post about it, letting others know about this wonderful upcoming game.
So here it is,
Mad Streets is a physics based multiplayer, couch co-op, beat em up/fighter. Being put together by Craftshop Arts based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Mad Streets is a game anyone can pick up on a party night and have a lot of fun straight away.
It is set to release on July 2020 on all major platforms.
It has a really great UI, which is simplistic and engaging at the same time.
Featuring up to 4 players this game is your best pick for a house party or reunion. Sit down on the couch and get ready to experience some intense fun for hours to come.
Features 20+Characters to pick from.
This game consists of many interesting modes:-
CHALLENGE MODE.
STORY MODE.
VERSUS MODE, and many more.
1. CHALLENGE MODE: - A series of fun mini games based on basic fighting mechanics.
2. STORY MODE: - A storyline revolving around 4 characters who have beef with the members of a football team. The fights will be 1v1s, 1v2s or 2v2s.
As you progress through the story more characters and arenas will be unlocked. These can be used in VERSUS and CHALLENGE mode.
3. In VERSUS MODE:-
STREET FIGHT: An old fashioned street fight with punches, kicks and jabs.
REFEREE MATCH: Official Referee calls and enforces rules in various types of matches, for instance Singles or Tag Team.
TOSS EM': Matches that require you to remove your opponent from the fight arena, to win.
BOXING: Classic 1 v 1 boxing match in a Gym.
RANDOM: Randomly ruled matches, no boxing mode included.
A look at the Versus Mode
It includes many arenas to take your brawl to.
You can pick up and throw wooden logs, stones and much more onto your opponents.
You have to charge your special move meter to be able to perform a Signature/KO move.
'Mad Streets' is still in development so there might be a few tweaks here and there and more content will be added by the devs.
